"*" indicates required fields

Step 1 of 2

50%
  • ALL ENTRIES MUST BE COMPLETED ONLINE
  • The WSTR Release Form must be initialed and signed digitally using the Docusign link we provide below. Applications will not be accepted until the Release Form is completed.
  • “*” indicates required fields. If the form does not submit, scroll up to see what you missed. It will be red.
  • Please note, some selections may be hidden until you check the relevant box.
  • If you require a stall, please ensure you state your arrival and departure dates in order to be correctly billed.
  • The Ride will be seeded as in past years. Instructions on how to submit a request to be considered for Pen 1 will be issued closer to the ride date.
  • You will not be considered “entered” into this year’s ride until payment has been received AND THE LIABILITY RELEASE FORM HAS BEEN INITIALED AND SIGNED THROUGH DOCUSIGN. You will receive email confirmation from Docusign with your signed documents attached after completing this task.
  • Ride Fees: Traditional Entry – $500 ($600 on and after June 29, 2025) | Signature Entry – $1600

Are you qualified to enter the Ride?

To enter for The Tevis Cup Ride you must:
  1. Have previously completed The Tevis Cup 100 Mile Ride, OR
  2. Accumulated at least 300 miles on sanctioned rides of at least 35 miles/day in length.

Ride Policies

  • Rules governing the WSTF differ in some respects from those of other AERC sanctioned rides. The WSTF Rules will be applied and adhered to before, during and after the Ride. The 2025 Ride rules are available on the WSTF website or may be requested from the WSTF office. Please read them carefully. A printed Rule Book will also be mailed to each entrant with CA, OR, WA, or NV addresses approximately two weeks before the Ride date, together with parking passes. Riders not residing in those states will need to pick up this packet at the Tevis Office in Auburn the week prior to the Ride.
  • Receipt of a completed entry by the WSTF does not guarantee acceptance to the ride.
  • Applications by junior riders who are over 12 and under 18 on ride day will only be considered final once we receive the entry of an adult rider (21 years or older) as sponsor.
  • GPS tracker rental is mandatory/part of the ride entry and included in the entry fee as of 2023. Ride Management strongly recommends that all riders affix the tracker to their mount and ensure that it is operating throughout the ride. Use of GPS trackers has proven material in the ability of emergency response teams to locate and assist riders and their equines in case of emergency, as well as helping lost riders reach help.
  • Mares in foal and/or lactating are not allowed to enter the Ride.

Refund Policy / Late Fee

Rider entry withdrawal requests received at the Tevis office on/before June 28, 2025 (and equines pulled at check-in) will receive a refund, less a $35 non-refundable administrative fee, 30 days post ride. No refunds for withdrawals after June 28, 2025 or for no shows. Equines unable to start because of injury or sickness occurring on/after June 28, 2025 and fully documented by a vet, may receive partial refunds at the discretion of ride management. Deadline for refund of stall reservations is on/before June 28, 2025.

Entries received on or after June 29, 2025 are subject to a $100 late fee.
