Tevis Route 2023
We are pleased to officially unveil this year’s modified “snow” route! Last winter brought a record amount of snowfall to the Sierras necessitating some trail reroutes to the 2023 Tevis Cup Ride.
Riders will follow a special and spectacular route which still involves many iconic locations.
Tevis Forum 2023
We’re delighted to present this year’s Tevis Forum – hot off the press and also available online.
To view past issues of the Tevis Forum, they are available going back to 2011.
It’s gonna happen!
Rumors of the 67th Ride’s cancellation are not true.
“I assure you that we have a good trail planned for this year and are actively moving forward. Actually, we are planning more than one route because we like to be agile the way our best horses are.”
Educational Ride – Auditors Welcome!
Chicken Hawk Campground – Michigan Bluff – July 8th – 4 pm

Status of the Tevis Ride 2023
The WSTF Board of Governors has been working hard to determine how to deal with this epic weather year on top of the fire damage the Western States Trail suffered last fall.
We want to take this opportunity to assure all riders, crew, and volunteers that the Tevis Ride will happen on the originally scheduled date – Saturday, July 29, 2023.
Virtual Tevis Cup 2023
Entries now open! This year’s Virtual Event starts on Wednesday, April 19th – and will run for 100 days until Sunday, July 30th, 2023* – as the riders of the Traditional Tevis Cup are finishing their own physical journeys** under the Tevis Moon!
